We are very grateful to have Michigan's first gentleman, Dan Mulhern, as as regular contributor here in CU Campus. Dan blogs on his own site, and we bring his posts into CU Campus via RSS so that we can reflect on his musings from within our own closed community of practice. Dan also checks in on the activity here, so he really is just a message away.
Dan writes a lot about approaches to management and leadership that he encounters and does a great job of pointing out leaders whose words and deeds exemplify the kind of leadership, personal and otherwise, we would hope to see in our own lives.
To bring it closer to home, what is about the leadership style of your credit union that you like, or even dislike? This, of course, isn't intended to be a question to elicit venting or even brown-nosing. Everyone should think of themselves as leaders in some way, so if your credit union has, say, 20 employees, you might see 20 different styles of leadership.
Which ones do you think stand out as particularly good? Or bad ?
Naming names is optional, of course!
