Who am I?

Hi There!

A native of Utah, I received a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Utah before earning my master's in business administration at Utah State University. Prior to joining the Michigan League as president/CEO in August of 1997, I served as the Washington League President from 1991 - 1997. I also served on the staff of the Utah CU League for 10 years, the last three as president/CEO. I began my career as an Internal Auditor for a large Savings & Loan in Utah.

During my CU career, I have served on several boards and committees. These have included service as a Director on the Magic Line and NYCE Boards as well as the Board of Directors of U.M.T.A. Credit Union and the Utah Corporate Credit Union. I am also an adjunct professor for the University of Michigan and Wayne State University where I teach Financial Institution Management courses.
